Investments of 700 million euros have been planned in the Emilia-Romagna region over the four-year period 2014-2017 with the aim of upgrading water system infrastructure. The region was one of the first to adapt to changes in legislation and to promote reorganisation of the sector ahead of the guidelines introduced by the Unlock Italy decree.
