ACCADUEO focuses on innovations and best practices that can make the difference in an efficient water system

ACCADUEO, international water exhibition to be held at BolognaFiere on 17-19 October 2018, besides a trade show dedicated to technologies, treatments, distribution and sustainability, is an important opportunity for information and training for sector operators.

 

The show will be a place of encounter for institutions, regulators, companies, and utilities to point out deficiencies in the system and find the bases for developing new resources and providing high-quality service. Above all, it focuses on the actions, strategies, and technologies tested in the renewal of infrastructure, the development of water resources, and protection of the environment, through the presentation of national and international case studies and excellence in technology.

 

From this viewpoint, the keys to the information and training programs of ACCADUEO will be innovation, digitization, network maintenance and operation, and the best practices of industry and utilities.

 

ACCADUEO offers a full calendar of events over the three days of the show, beginning with the opening conference “We Add Value to Water: Innovation in the network maintenance and operation", with the principal national and international institutions discussing the topic that innovation is an important element for improving operational quality and service. Innovation always linked to regulatory development, technological innovation, and cultural growth.

 

On the afternoon of the opening day the seminar “We Add Value to Water: the market, innovation and future scenarios for water” which will include presentation of the Accadueo-Cresme Report, with briefings on the virtuous cases examined.

 

Regarding technology and the future challenges the water sector will have to confront, ANIE, on 18th October, is organizing a conference on “Technology and expertise at the service of the networks: how to meet present and future challenges”.

 

Regarding sewer system operation, a conference will be held on the 19th October on “Innovative and thematic aspects emerging in the management and design of sewer systems”, with the objective of focusing participants' attention on the latest strategies for managing rainfall in urban areas and the design criteria and types of product suitable for this purpose. 

 

The international events include one organized by IWA “Managing water between drought, innovation and the digital challenge” scheduled on the 18th and 19th October, to illustrate international best practices in the innovative management of water systems.

 

In synergy with the exhibition event devoted to digitization is a conference on “Technologies and digital at the service of water” organized by REF for 18th October. The meeting serves to illustrate the potential and fallout of new technologies and the capacity for regulation and the incentives of Industry 4.0 to promote their dissemination.

 

One of the events dedicated to the gas sector is “News and innovations in the gas system” to be held on 18th October. The intention of the event, organized by CIG, one of the sponsors of the exhibition, was to present an updated situation on legislation and technology in the sector, with food for thought and discussion on short- and medium-term developments.

 

Also scheduled are numerous conferences and workshops organized by ANIE, FAST, IATT, IWS, UNIATEM and others.
